Addition...

Carson is getting ready to put walls up and rafters, then he will remove this old outer wall to the house.

This is a view of that same outer wall taken from inside the house facing west.

The walls are going up...this is such a huge step in getting the layout of the house figured out.

With good equipment and lots of ingenuity...a two man work force can get a lot of work done!

This is the first piece of plywood going up on the addition.

...and I loved watching the 'new' room take shape and become part of the house.

This is why Carson and I want to make a home out of the place on the corner, for the view of the sunsets and the sunrises. I captured this picture as the sun was going down out in our front yard.
The addition is enclosed and weather tight.
...and I have ALL THIS SPACE as our new masterbedroom!

More Cement Work...

Cement and Addition...

Carson and Greg pouring cement patio in front of the house. Had to be poured in 3 sections.

Carson on the roof of the west end of the old part of the house, he is sawing off the overhang to get that side ready for the new additions walls and rafters.

The guys working on the sub floor on the new masterbedroom.

This picture and the following two are of foundation for the masterbedroom, here Carson is contemplating the next step. He has been working VERY hard, and it really shows.
